Olivia Lowe

Olivia Lowe is a Boston-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. A classically trained flautist, Lowe grew up performing in various flute choirs, orchestras, and jazz ensembles. From the age of sixteen, she began teaching herself guitar and performing vocally in musical theatre and a cappella. Now, she writes for The Far Out as well as her indie-folk solo project. Her musical influences include Gregory Alan Isakov, The Avett Brothers, and Christine McVie.

Olivia works as Music Director at 92.5 the River, Boston’s Independent Radio, where she also hosts the ‘Under the Covers’ Sunday morning show. She acts as advisor for the Suffolk Ramifications, the premiere a cappella group at Suffolk University. As a performer, she has worked with venues all over Massachusetts and opened for singer-songwriter Post Malone.
